Reselling has its own language. This page explains the words we use in Xlistr and in these guides. You do not need to memorise them; come back when a word does not make sense.

A to Z

Words that are easy to confuse

Delist vs archive vs delete

  • Delist ends the marketplace listing. The inventory item stays.
  • Archive hides the item from your active list. Check its listings separately.
  • Delete removes the Xlistr record and its history. It cannot be undone.

Draft vs live vs queued

  • Draft — not sent to the marketplace.
  • Queued — sent, but the marketplace has not finished it.
  • Live — the marketplace has the listing.

Single unit vs shared quantity

  • Single unit — one physical item.
  • Shared quantity — several listings draw from the same physical stock.

Restock vs sell similar

  • Restock — bring the same listing back when stock returns.
  • Sell similar — create a fresh listing or relist an older one.
