A workspace is your Xlistr account. It holds your inventory, your marketplace connections, your listings, your sales and your team. This guide sets up the basics without asking you to learn everything at once.

The Xlistr sign-in page.

Step 1: Sign in

  1. Go to app.xlistr.com/admin.
  2. Enter the email address and password for your Xlistr account.
  3. Click Sign in.
  4. If your workspace uses Google sign-in, click Continue with Google instead.
If you are the first person in a new workspace, take five minutes to look around before adding stock. It is much easier to learn the screens with two sample items than with two hundred real ones.

Step 2: Look around Settings

Open Settings in the left-hand menu. You do not need to change everything today. These are the tabs that matter at the start:
The Xlistr Settings screen

The Settings screen. The tabs across the top hold account, listing, inventory, automation, import, security and developer settings.

Do not turn on automation you do not understand yet. It is much easier to learn how Xlistr behaves when you are pressing the buttons yourself.

Step 3: Set your notification preference

Xlistr can send a grouped daily summary of marketplace issues. Critical issues still notify you immediately.
  1. Open Settings > Account.
  2. Find Needs attention notifications.
  3. Turn Send a daily Needs attention summary on or off.
  4. Click Save notification preferences.
If you sell on several marketplaces, the daily summary is a calm way to start the day. You can still open Needs attention at any time.

Step 4: Connect one marketplace

You only need one connection to publish your first item.
  1. Open Automation.
  2. Find Shop integrations.
  3. Click Connect next to the shop you already use.
  4. Follow the sign-in or extension instructions.
  5. Confirm that the status says Connected.
The full details, including what to do when a connection expires, are in Connect your marketplaces.
Use the seller account you actually want to sell from. If you have a personal account and a business account, connect the one that holds your stock and your feedback.

Step 5: Add two or three sample items

Do not import your whole catalogue yet. Add two or three items you know well, then check:
  • the photos look right;
  • the title and description are accurate;
  • the price and cost of goods are correct;
  • the quantity matches what you own;
  • the item appears in Inventory;
  • the marketplace listing shows the status you expect.
The first listing walkthrough takes you through one item from start to finish.

Step 6: Decide how you will use Xlistr

There is no single right way to work, but most resellers fall into one of these habits:
  • One at a time: add an item, list it, then move on. Best for high-value or one-off pieces.
  • Photo batch: photograph a pile, use Auto-group photos, then review the drafts together.
  • Import first: bring in existing marketplace listings, then tidy them in Xlistr.
You can mix them. The important part is that every listing points back to an inventory item that owns the stock.
