# Roadmap

> See the public Xlistr product direction — considering, planned and building — then follow an item when it ships.

The public roadmap is on [xlistr.com/roadmap](https://xlistr.com/roadmap). It is product direction, not the internal engineering backlog.

> Public considering, planned and building columns.

## What the columns mean

* **Considering** — we have the request and are weighing it.
* **Planned** — we intend to build it.
* **Building** — work is in progress.

When something ships, it leaves the roadmap and appears on the [changelog](https://xlistr.com/changelog).

> [!TIP]
>
> Vote on the feature request behind a roadmap card if you want to follow it. Shipping updates go to the changelog, not back onto the board.

## How to use the roadmap

* Browse the columns to see what is coming.
* Vote on the requests that matter to you.
* Follow a request if you want a notification when it changes.
* Check the changelog for what has actually shipped.
